ZZXXCCVV is a family of websites that each do something different: games, trending videos, learning, everyday tools and trips. Each site runs on its own, and the portal at zzxxccvv.com brings them together in one place.
On this blog we look at the sites one at a time: what you can do on each, and where to click first. This first post is the map. Some ZZXXCCVV sites are only in Korean, so this post lists the ones you can use in this language.
Named after four keys
ZZXXCCVV comes from Z, X, C and V, the four keys under your left hand on a keyboard. The portal's front page sums the sites up as "Play, watch, learn, use, explore," and they are grouped the same way. This post follows that order.

Ppooing: casual games, nothing to install
Ppooing has more than 70 casual games you play right in your browser, with no install and no login. Browse by genre, such as puzzle, shooting or racing, or pick from courses of games that only take a few minutes. You can mark favorites and jump back into games you played recently. According to the site, games you have saved keep working without an internet connection.

Ddolketmon lets you look up Pokémon from Generations 1 to 9 and play mini-games. There is a silhouette quiz, a card-matching game, AI Twenty Questions, and games like battle, volleyball and racing, along with a type matchup chart and a daily challenge. It is an unofficial fan site with no connection to the official Pokémon companies.

Typedome has nine free typing games in three groups: ARENA, SURVIVAL and KIDS. You can practice in English, Korean or Japanese (typed in romaji), and you play anonymously, with no account. ARENA games have online leaderboards; the KIDS games have no leaderboard and no nickname field. When you choose your language, the game screen switches to it, while the how-to text below each game is in Korean.

Trenvid brings together trending YouTube videos from 11 countries. Switch between countries and categories to compare them, and follow the daily charts and weekly recaps. The charts are collected every four hours, and a remote feature lets you control playback on a big screen from your phone.

PICNICI Global is a free guide to traveling in Korea. Browse trip courses, or look up places by region and category, then check the map and directions. Place information comes from the Korea Tourism Organization, and there is no login.
